thats not where i thought this post was going
OF COURSE.
i’m sorry im not sorry
Everything will be all right! We just need to get out of here!
I don’t know if I reblogged this before, but if I did, I’m doing it again. Cause this part was so painful to watch. Just how Mako was so afraid, and you could tell. He was sputtering out words to reassure Korra AS WELL AS HIMSELF that they’d be okay. But, uh THE AVATAR JUST GOT HER BENDING TAKEN AWAY. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY ASSURE THEM OF THEIR SAFETY? And yet, he tried his best anyway. A gut-wrenching (OMG NO PUN INTENDED OKAY?!?!?!) scene to watch.
I think This might be the one part where the Makorra writing didn’t feel forced, to me. Well, that and episode 2. In this scene, it felt awesome and organic, and all about two people wanting to protect each other.
I agree, this was also one scene I really liked, for the like… 3 seconds that it lasted.
Yes! The fact that Mako looked back and had that scared look on his face actually felt REAL. I can’t believe everyone else caught that detail and thought the same thing :D *hugs*
I concur with the bolded.
So how the fuck did Tenzin’s family get captured?
Ah, okay. So Lin really was used as a plot device to make us hate Amon. I get it. I see you Bryke. I see you.
WELP
Hey, did you see the season finale of Korra?
Did you see the season finale of Shut the Fuck Up?
meanwhile on /co/
HA
why is this the funniest thing to me? xD

there’s just something about this fandom and the things we freak out about/ADORE that makes me sooooo happpyyyy. like the fact we’ve only heard Bumi screech at the sky and he’s already one of our favorite fucking characters ever.
I can’t stop staring at this.
I love Bumi so much.
Yep.
I’m also deeply amused by the fact that he became a memetic sex god in under a day.
“It will be just like the good old days.”
oh and while im complaining
why the fuck did they have to undermine the equalist movement
i mean
goddamn this was supposed to be about oppression and they never once recognized that hey, maybe these people have a point
its not about stopping the movement its about making it healthier and recognizing what theyre saying and fixing the problems that are so clearly there
amon was an asshole who needed to be stopped, but why did they not once try to show the movement in a positive light
why did they not once think that maybe amon should be thought of as a separate force from the movement itself
i hope to god season two covers this shit because this is a storyline about privilege and not a single character checked or acknowledged their own
PREACH.
smh
We could’ve had it all.
I feel that it’s only fair to give everyone a heads up: I was not amused or satisfied by the goings-on in this finale. There were a few bright spots, but overall? COMPLETE AND UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT.
I cried.
“It’s alright.”
“I’ll be over here.”
“With Pabu.”
“…”

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Iroh’s face here
TOTALLY ZUKO’S SPAWN.
