So I’m making NEON girl munny dolls, because…hobbies.

Tawnee, Mel, Max, Joey, and Alex. (Idk what is atop her head, my sister added that.) Tawnee, the left-i-est, is giving me endless trouble trying to emulate these cornrows. Jfc.

Last picture of the night. I’m tired from sketching panels.

Whoa, who’s this lady? She looks like an older Korra, buuut, she’s not Korra. She’s Kuunaq’s mom! (Omolara’s intended [intended is the key word here] Waterbending teacher’s daughter, and the mother of her eventual one). I forgot her name (I doubt I’ve named her) but she’s a rough, tough, single mom with a sharp tongue and a heart of gold. She’s a doctor/healer and is renowned for her work at the local clinic.

She also went to University with Omolara’s parents. Small world.

This is clearly unfinished.

(I also added a ‘y’ to her name, it would seem?) 

Just playing around with their loooooks, trying to get consistent, give them varying features/heights/hair/skintones/etc.

I keep drawing the not-at-all main characters of NEON.
She is a former magical girl, at least, so I’m going to award myself some kind of “ur in the ballpark” points. 

I think the chibi-esque pics should be a different post?

Latest Luna Pen progress shots. {WIP}

It’s still missing the red rhinestones on the crown, and I need to touch up the top of the pen, and nothing is glued on at all yet. #lolTrialRun

But I’m digging the colors, and the pen actually writes, so that’s a perk.

The last shot is without the tassel charm thinger, which obvs wasn’t on the original pen; I just felt like making some additions. 

Thoughts? :D
