She Thinks Too Much [Such Girls Are Dangerous]

Mamimi isn’t even in my top five favorite characters from FLCL, but I do like her design. I remember reading somwhere that a lot of fans hated her look, mostly because of her lips. I absolutly HATE when in anime characters have those big , ugly lips. They get on my last nerves. I get not liking the exaggerated o3o face she makes, but her lips in general? I like them. They’re full. I have lips like that.  Way back, like eight holyshit years ago when FLCL first aired on Adult Swim, younger!me was super excited at the notion of an anime character having an anything like me. So finding out that people didn’t like her look made me sad; I liked my lips. Didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to.  Of course, then came the “fuck the haters” ideology.  Yep.
